Millet Burfi | Healthy Indian Sweet Recipe

Sweet Recipes : Millet Burfi is a healthy and delicious treat that combines the goodness of millets with the richness of jaggery and cashews. Packed with nutrients, this traditional Indian dessert is a perfect blend of taste and wellness.

Sweet Recipes Ingredients:

  • Kodo Millet
  • Saamai Millet
  • Cashews
  • Jaggery Ball
  • Ghee

Instructions:

  1. Dry roast the Kodo and Saamai millets in a pan until they release a pleasant aroma.
  2. In another pan, melt ghee and roast the cashews until they turn golden brown.
  3. Add the powdered millets and roasted cashews to the pan with the melted ghee.
  4. Grate the jaggery ball, dissolve it in a little water, and add it to the pan. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens and comes together.
  5. Once the mixture reaches a dough-like consistency, transfer it to a greased plate, flatten it, and let it cool.
  6. Once cooled, cut into pieces and enjoy your healthy, nutrient-packed millet burfi.
