Red rice idiyappam flour, also known as string hoppers or Nool Puttu made from red rice, can prepare variation of traditional string hoppers. They also refer to it as Samba Puttu in Kerala.

This steamed tube puttu along with Nendran Banana, Green Moong Dal and Pappad is a must try healthy breakfast.

Red rice is a type of unpolished rice that retains its reddish-brown bran layer, which is rich in nutrients and adds a unique flavor and color.

You can steam Kaadu Organics Red Rice Idiyappam flour using a puttu maker or a pressure cooker to make thick rice tubes suitable for various South Indian dishes. To produce this flour, soak red rice grains, dry them, and then grind them into a fine powder, following a process similar to regular rice flour.
