Ingredients

  • 1 cup Heritage Steam Puttu Flour
  • Water as needed
  • Salt (optional)
  • Fresh grated coconut

Steps

  1. Sprinkle water gradually into the flour and mix until crumbly.
  2. Layer the flour and grated coconut alternately in a puttu maker.
  3. Steam for 5–7 minutes until cooked.
  4. Serve hot with banana, kadala curry, jaggery, or coconut.

  • Use warm water for softer texture
