Kozhukattai Recipe

Ingredients

  • Idiyappam Flour (Red Rice Flour)
  • Residual Free Flow Cane Jaggery
  • Grated Coconut
  • Salt
  • Water

Preparation of Kozhukattai

  1. Boil the water. Add ghee and a pinch of salt to the boiling water.
  2. In a bowl, take red rice flour and pour the hot water into it to form a dough.
  3. In another bowl, take jaggery powder and boil some water. Pour the hot water over the jaggery powder, mix well, and then add grated coconut. Your stuffing is now ready.
  4. Take the dough, flatten it, and fill it with the prepared stuffing.
  5. Shape it as desired (you can make it round or in any other shape you prefer).
  6. Steam the shaped Kozhukattai for a few minutes until fully cooked.
  7. Your healthy Kozhukattai is now ready to serve and enjoy
