Ingredients
- Idiyappam Flour (Red Rice Flour)
- Residual Free Flow Cane Jaggery
- Grated Coconut
- Salt
- Water
Preparation of Kozhukattai
- Boil the water. Add ghee and a pinch of salt to the boiling water.
- In a bowl, take red rice flour and pour the hot water into it to form a dough.
- In another bowl, take jaggery powder and boil some water. Pour the hot water over the jaggery powder, mix well, and then add grated coconut. Your stuffing is now ready.
- Take the dough, flatten it, and fill it with the prepared stuffing.
- Shape it as desired (you can make it round or in any other shape you prefer).
- Steam the shaped Kozhukattai for a few minutes until fully cooked.
- Your healthy Kozhukattai is now ready to serve and enjoy
